CANrace covers the NASCAR Pinty’s Series all season long! On our Wednesday YouTube shows, we recap the previous race and look ahead to the next event on the schedule. This includes news, talk and special features. Our coverage from select race weekends features photos, videos and information through social media, and post-race interviews with the top finishers on YouTube.

CANrace has covered Canada’s NASCAR division since 2014, with special features such as a go-kart race with Jeff, Cayden and Treyton Lapcevich, and Kawartha horse racing drivers predicting the winner for Kawartha’s NASCAR race. We’ve also aired several one-on-one interviews with drivers including Scott Steckly, Jason Hathaway, Cayden Lapcevich, Alex Tagliani, Mark Dilley, Kevin Lacroix, Gary Klutt and J.F. and L.P. Dumoulin.

CANrace is hosted and produced by Bryce Turner, Steven Ellis and Caitlin Patrick (see profiles below). This website will be a place where all of CANrace’s coverage comes together, so check back for updates all season long as we continue to cover the top level of stock car racing in the country!

Bryce Turner

I’m a twenty-year-old journalist who lives in the Greater Toronto Area. I have experience in both broadcast and print journalism. Recently, I worked behind the scenes at Rogers TV Toronto from 2013-2014. I had a few on-air opportunities at Rogers TV as well. In June 2015 I worked with the Toronto Star, writing a couple of articles for their Honda Indy Toronto preview section and tweeting about the action on race weekend. I’ve been covering the NASCAR Pinty’s Series on CANrace since 2014. I also write NASCAR articles at carnuts.ca. And, I host the 9-10:10am portion of Morning Mixtape on Mondays, which includes news and motorsports, on Ryerson University’s campus radio station CJRU 1280 AM. I just completed my third-year of Ryerson’s Journalism programme and hope to continue covering motorsports.

Steven has written for many publications over his lifetime, including his own, The Hockey House.
